What's wrong with good old English food?

My Son eats Indian meals.
When he brings one home, I have to leave the room because I hate the smell of them. I find it best to avoid them all. What's wrong with good old English food?
Nothing if it's done right. Trouble is, a lot of "English" food consists of a piece of meat, a potato and something green. And for some people that can get boring. Even if you add salt, pepper and Catchup. :-)
If you are inclined to cook, you might try adding a little curry, turmeric, cumin and garlic to things like stews and sauces. Add some cayenne if you want to up the sweat factor and the adventure.
There's lots more and I don't know the half of it.
Eat well, have fun. Enjoy.
